About the data

NILE Home only lists facts: how many facilities of each type are within 1 km and 3 km of a point, and how far the nearest ones are. We don't score properties, and nothing here is buying advice. Listings and prices are the responsibility of the people who post them, and NILE Home doesn't check prices.

Sources and updates

All facility locations come from OpenStreetMap (ODbL licence); the base map is OpenFreeMap. Facility data is as of 2026-10-18. A school counts as a Chinese primary school (SJK(C)) when OpenStreetMap tags it as one. Transport only counts stations and ferry terminals on OpenStreetMap.

Limits

• The data may be incomplete or out of date. OpenStreetMap is maintained by volunteers, so some shops, clinics or schools may be missing or slightly misplaced.
• Distances are in a straight line, not the real driving or walking route. Two points across the sea or a hill are further apart on the ground.
• We only count facilities. We say nothing about quality, fees, noise, safety or traffic.
• Area centre points are approximate and will be corrected one by one.
• This page and the map are for reference only and are not buying or investment advice.
